They're posting messages saying that he asked for his academic transcripts today.

I want this kid to be a Hog.  I hope he wants to be a Hog.  BP wants him to be a Hog.

Post # 217823 is the beginning of the thread.  They're so wrapped up in RR that they are just brushing this loss off.
If you don't know, now you know.

"Woke" is a term made up by people who have appointed themselves as intellectually superior as a way to describe themselves in comparison with those whom they deem ignorant.

Well, let's hope that it's true and he's talking to Petrino right now.

A&M's rivals page says he may have interest there...I certainly hope not.

This is the thread I've been on looking for on here the last few days.  Let's just hope that it's true.  I think that we will know a lot more after Pryor commits on Saturday though.

BTW, that Michigan board is crazy to try and navigate.  I am very thankful for the format we have here on Hogville.

The_Bionic_Pig

keep tracking the ex-Mich QB coach - he has some pull on RM decision.

Isn't the QB coach looking at UCLA and Tennessee?

Right now I don't think RM know's where he will end up but just throwing that out their so you guys won't be shocked.  Arkansas is a very, very, very serious player though.

A&M loses McGee next year.  Mallett transfers and then inherits the starting job.  UA has Youngblood, Wilson and Nathan Dick all with a year learning Petrino's offense.  I think A&M is realistic with less completion, but I hope it is the Hogs.

I really feel sorry for the kid.  First he gets treated like a stray dog with rabies by the Arkansas coaching staff, then he finds a place at Michigan only to have the coach that recruited him leave after one year.

Yeah, it looks like this may actually be the board that invented the "Link?  Source?  Quote?" post.

The A&M McGee part may be true, but if he transfers now he will have as much time in the new offense as Nathan Dick and more time than the incoming freshmen.

If he transferred at semester, could he participate in spring practice?

I agree. I just hope he gives us a chance to make it up to him now that we have a real coaching staff. I really believe this is where he wants to be in his heart.

He was recruited pretty hard by Nutt, I hate Nutt but I will stick up for him hear. The reason why RM did not come to Arkansas was that MM was here. We tried hard to get him

Calling All Hogs

Pryor is suppose to announce whether he is coming to Michigan this week so if Ryan is leaving he may announce in the next day or two to
clear the way for Pryor while not looking like he is reacting to Pryor coming by announcing after Pryor states his decision.

Hogaliciousness

It really is a natural fit for Mallett and our coaching staff.  That is the most important thing for both to be successful.  It is understandable why he didn't want to come here before going to Michigan when TCTWF was here.
I am ready for some football!

Maybe this is kinda lame, I don't know..but maybe we should start a thread directed to Mallett, showing him how much we want him to come here.  Someone would surely show him (If he hasn't been checking this board regularly, of late).  I bet he would love it, and who wouldn't want to be where they're wanted?

I'm positive Mallett knows exactly how much his home state wants him back. Michigan was never a good fit for him from everything I've heard.

Well, maybe he does...But it's always nice to see it in writing...And read the things people say to him.

The only thing that scares me is the success Sherman had with Farve in the past.  If you were a coach of Farve and could have Farve call Mallett wouldn't you have him call Ryan and make a pitch for Sherman's coaching.  Petrino can have Redman or Brohm call Ryan, but it is the same in my opinion.

Come home . . . . . come home . . . . . it's Petrino time.

Ventura--- I thought he went to HS in Texas?  Does he want to return to Texas?

Pretty sure that would be a recruiting violation.

Ryan Mallet is still a Razorback fan but only a select few may be aware of Ryan's choices or destination other than his parents and the other attends UCA I believe.  ;)   She has been pretty accurate in the past when rumors were swirling that he may be choosing Arkansas after a visit as a fan during game day.

From Ryan's own webpage
"Ryan Mallett calls himself a country city slicker who grew up near Fayetteville, Ark. And yes, he was a Razorbacks fan."
