Update on Tennessee LB Ricky Holloway

Ricky is a 6'2 225 LB with 4.6 speed from Fayette Ware HS, Somerville TN



TRG: Any new offers since we last talked?

Ricky: No sir I haven't but I've been talking to Miami and LSU came by our school and talked to me but they haven't offered yet. Kentucky and Indiana are close to offering.

TRG: Have you been hearing from Arkansas?

Ricky: They've been sending me mail each week but I haven't talked to them for awhile.

TRG: What's latest on football camps?

Ricky: I went to the Ole Miss camp a couple weeks ago. I'm suppose to go to Miss St. camp July  13th or 14th. I'll then go to Arkansas' and Tennessee's camps and that will be it for the summer.

TRG: You told me last time that Tennessee was recruiting you the hardest. Is that still true?

Ricky: Yes sir. They send me about 5 letters everyday.

TRG: What are doing to get better for next season?

Ricky: I work out with a former teammate that goes to Miss St. (Wade Bonner) I worked out with him today. I just got through working out about 10 minutes ago.

TRG: What kind of drills do you guys do?

Ricky: He's showed me some Miss St drills. One of the drills is getting a medicine ball above your head and jumping up on top of a chair. We do five sets of six.

TRG: Do you still plan to make your decision at the end of your season?

Ricky: Yes sir.


Ricky is such a likeable young man. No ego or attitude with him, just a great young man.
