Ricky Holloway is a 6'2 225 from Fayette Ware HS, Somerville TN. I just got off the phone with Ricky and this is what he had to say.


TRG: Who are some of your offers?

Ricky: Tennessee, Georiga, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Ole Miss.

TRG: Who offered you first?

Ricky: Mississippi State did. Arkansas offered me a couple of months ago. Coach Houston Nutt came down to see us practice and offered through to my coach.

TRG: What's your 40 time?

Ricky: A 4.6. I ran that at Arkansas' camp last summer.

TRG: What other camps did you attend last summer?

Ricky: Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Arkansas St.

TRG: What did you think of Arkansas?

Ricky: We walked around the campus and got to see the big weight room. I love the weight room.I really liked the camp because of the coaches. All of them gave me a down home feeling.

TRG: What camps are you looking to attend this summer?

Ricky: I'm saving up my money right now. I'm looking at Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn, Miami of Florida has been getting into the picture lately. Some are on the same day so I'll have to see.

TRG: Do you know which school's camp you definitely plan to attend?   

Ricky: Arkansas, Tennessee and Georgia probably.

TRG: Who's recruiting you for Arkansas?

Ricky: Coach Danny Nutt. He talks to me and my coach. I get about two texts everyday or every other day. He'll ask me how I'm doing and telling me to keep my grades up.

TRG: Who's recruiting you the hardest?

Ricky: All of them really. Tennessee sends me about 10 letters a day. Arkansas sends me about 3 or 4 a week.

TRG: Tell me some of your stats from last season.

Ricky: I had 81 tackles, 10 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and recovered 4 fumbles.

TRG: Any schools standout to you?

Ricky: No sir. I'm pretty much wide open.

TRG: When do you plan to make a decision?

Ricky: Next year after my season is over.


Ricky has the speed and size you look for in a SEC LBer. I see Ricky getting many more offers in the coming months.


Ricky is a very gracious young man. He's very easy to talk to and very respectful. I look forward to talking to him in the future.
