yeah, some were classy a lot poked fun at Arkansas for getting so excited over a 4 star recruit and made a lot of references to the Deliverance and hillbillies.

This animosity is due to us not only getting DW, but BC, and MM instead of them.  I know MM never committed, but they sure recruited him.  We got every recruit that they were going after.  Of course they are going to say things to try to make themselves feel better.  It's usually a sign of insecurity...

I've been on one.  They keep mentioning "hillbillies" and other insults.  Money on that they that are trashing our state have never been here.  Trust me, I would much rather live here in Arkansas where people are not "transplants" from other states and where half the population doesn't wear depends!

They really are sore losers.  Saying that DW just caved to the pressure and we should be ashamed of ourselves.  That Arkansas couldn't get DW unless we violated NCAA rules.  What are they smoking over there?

First of all, if you are a recruit in the state of Florida and do not choose the school of choice, they will name call you and knock you down all day and night.  At least we would not have done that had he really gone to Florida.

They are true LOSERS in every sense of the word.  Just reading their board will make you sick.  When do we play them again?  $100 bucks we'll kick their butts---on principle alone our guys will have more heart than they do any given day---

So in 2 days we've gotten guys turned away from FSU, LSU, and Florida.  I'd say that's a couple of great days.

I actually went to UF my freshman year.

I loved it so much I transfered after one semester.

Ugly, overcrowded campus, but it was really just the overall crappiness of the people there.

When I was in college I worked for alltel's customer service department.  Alltel has a large constituency of customers in the Gainesville area.  I remember trying to explain a cellular phone bill to the ignorant retards from that area of the state and I liken it to explaining to a blind man what it's like to watch a porno.  There are missing synapses somewhere.  I wouldn't worry about the comments, it's simply a terd telling a rose that the rose smells like darn.

The level of "hate" that Flordia takes it to gives bad-mouthing a whole new name.  Arkansas fans may not have liked the de-committment, but they didn't trash their own kid.  There was a lot of speculating, but no name calling.  We wanted to know the reason, they just want to sling mud at us.

Well here is where the classyness of the sd4 shows up, I don't believe arkansas violated 1 ncaa rule. When DW said the reasons why he decided on arkansas one that stuck out hte most was family and God. I think this is how it was for all 4 of them. They are a really classy bunch who honestly sought advice from God on this situation. So i think we oughta give a good ol thank ya Lord in there somewhere to. I bet this state is alot more proud to have them than any hippie from florida will ever be.

Coach Urban "Anthony Perkins of Psycho fame" Meyer.  Where now did he make his "bones", the Mountain West" ?  I remember this about Florida growing up, they were usually going 4-7 and 5-6 every year while we were going 9-2 & 10-1 in the 60's and much of the 70's.

The mighty gators didn't win their 1st SEC Title until 1985 or after being in the SEC for about 60 years prior. And they had that title vacated by NCAA probation. They never had any real success until Spurrier so really they're a Johnny-come-lately of sorts.

So if you're talking lengthy sports noteriety and fame, only our good buddies over at Alabama have that in their 12-13 claimed National Titles. The rest of the league is something like this and not a whole lot better than us, if someone wants to do the research on

Florida was a good program in the 1960s under Ray Graves that dropped off dramatically in the late 70s. From 1960-1979, they had only 3 losing seasons, so they weren't exactly going 4-7 every year. In fact, Florida has only 27 losing seasons in their 100 year history and a winning percentage of 68% since 1950, the modern era of football.

Also, they have the second most wins in the SEC since 1950, not Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, or LSU. Before Spurrier came, Florida was always a good program that couldn't quite get over the top, but they weren't Northwestern or anything.

The board of regents have decided that due to the manhandling of our team at the mercy of Hogs and Arkies, its time to rename the stadium...not only the favorite sports drink of the florida Gators got a new name today.....

BHG will be renamed "Razorback Stadium South @ Gainesville"......and since Hogs dont reside in Swamps, all of the references to the stadium will also be renamed.......
We will now be calling the stadium "The Pig Pen" where only Hogs slop all day

its hilarious...i love seeing florida talk trash...they are hands down the most class less rednecks i've ever seen..i was shocked by how these people are...and what a terrible place to live..unless you live on a beach in a somewhat nice resort town in florida then that state is trash...plus its way too humid...i'm glad florida is pumped though about the 12 years of tradition they've had as a football program or as a school in general because they have a melt down every year in every sport no matter what they are ranked...good luck to them winning one in football because they wont ever win one in any other sport.

My favorite is when they were saying Cleveland only flipped because he didn't have the grades for UF, but did for Arkansas.  So I looked it up.  Florida is FORTY-SEVENTH in the nation in average SAT scores as a state with under 1000.  The state of Arkansas average is 1138.  So the U of Florida must have ZERO students from Florida.

I used to respect the UF fan base, but have lost a lot of that.  They claim we have no FB tradition, but what did UF do pre-Steve Spurrier?  We had three DECADES of good football tradition before UF was ever on the college football map.

What UF needs to realize is that Arkansas has a better sports tradition than they do.  Just look at our trophy cases, then look at theirs.  For that matter, Arkansas is the ONLY SEC school to win NC's in football and basketball.  Our baseball program is just as good as theirs as well.  While they slightly trump us in tennis and golf, we trump them in X-country, indoor and outdoor.

They also trashed the state (around Fayetteville).  Funny how they disagree with the folks who put out Forbes Magazine and Business Week.

Would not post this on their board, but I will put up Arkansas the school, the sports tradition, the facilities and the area around Fayetteville up against Gainesville any day.  Not saying they don't have anything to offer, but it cracks me up when fans of other schools make fun of you from their perch WHILE LOOKING UP.
