Haven't been able to go to any practices this fall.

We normally do get some good information on the series.

thanks bro, I thought we did last year, but I thought we got some reports on the scrimmages too.  I just wondered what was going on in that regard.  I couldnt remember if it was on EI, or whole hog or where we got it.

You should just ask the nurse from miss America.  I'm sure she'd be glad to teach you.  I'd let her teach me

All I can tell you is that is the roster from the school site cut and copied verbatim and I dont see him either.  But I do see at least eight more than we can carry (I think its 35 we can have in some form or another isnt it, or was that 34?)

Shaddy at third is interesting. If he can play it might be good for lineup!

Like that both catchers had a hit yesterday. As we have not had a good hitting catcher or basically a avg. 200 hitting catcher maybe since McCann.

Shaddy I believe is in the running for third base. So third and first will be interesting to see how the line up plays out on the infield. SS and second I think is M. Bernal ss and Rick Nomura 2b.

First base you have three with potential to start or be moved to DH or Outfield in Egan,Gassaway and Spanberger.

So the fall line up production may give us an idea of a starting line up for reg. season.

Even though Pennell started the season slow, he got a lot better at the plate the longer the season went, especially in the power department.  He only had three extra base hits, but they did come later.  He hit .200 for the year in 95 at bats and seven rbis.  He is also good defensively and is best at holding on and throwing out base runners of the three catchers last year.

Gosser is good defensively, but has never hit that much, even though he hit 40 points higher last year, which is deceptive in a way, in fifty at bats with two rbis.  He may be better at digging out low throws, throws in the dirt than Pennell but doesnt appear to me to have as strong a arm.

Shaddy just isnt that good defensively but he can hit, unless we find someone better defensively that can still hit, if Shaddy can do a decent job in the field, I welcome him at third base.

Bottom line, imho, Pennell at catcher, especially when he is hitting well, gives us our best chance of winning if last year is a good indicator.

Interesting that Josh Alberius is back at 3b, wonder if he will still pitch? I think I would like to see Shaddy play well enough to win that position and keep Alberius on the mound full time.

Meh, the joke's actually on them. About half to three fourths of the time, the Drs don't even carry a stethoscope and borrow ours. Of course we don't give them the one we really use. I am not having and absent minded Dr run off with a 200 dollar stethoscope.
Sittin in the morning sun, I'll be sittin here when evening comes.
