              This is game 1 of a 3 game SEC conference series with Auburn. 

Friday's First Pitch is set for 6:03 pm and WILL NOT BE TELEVISED . This game will be streamed live online on SECNetwork+, accessible at WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app. 

Play-by-Play Narrative:
For many years, Hogville members who love Razorback Baseball have come together to produce these game threads with play-by-play narrative for those that depend on it as their only source and for those that just simply enjoy it. These threads have been a foundation for great Hogville discussions and that tradition continues today as this is NOT a read only thread (all Hogville posting rules apply).

Maddhog will provide the play-by-play narrative for this game.  Razorbacks#1, A_R_K_A_N_S_A_S, JHicks3636, Wisco Pig, sir-pigs-a-lot, JHGiunta, ucahogfan and Cornfed Pig, will assist with stats, back up, and support. I somewhat understand SC vs Florida being the SEC Network game this weekend, but Vandy vs Georgia is being showcased on ESPNU!?  How is a matchup between the #10 vs #11 team in the country not being televised and 2 non ranked teams like Vandy and UGA is??

I mean it will be available for streaming, but the Hogs have not been televised hardly at all this year.  Is this because they are creating all of the TV schedules before the season even starts?  If so, they need to be able to adjust based on how teams are doing and not just stick with weaker games bc they were set that way...

Yes the tv schedule was made before the season. I think it is pretty ignorant for then to do that because they miss out on a lot better match ups sometimes.

I'm ready too, and I like the Hogs' chances this weekend.  They recovered from a demoralizing gut punch against LSU and haven't lost since.  I realize recent opponents are not of LSU's caliber, but I'm not convinced that Auburn is as good as LSU, either, particularly with Auburn's best starting pitcher out of the series.

Although the crowds in Auburn this weekend probably will be larger than normal for them, the park is typically not considered one of the crazier venues in the SEC.

The Hogs are playing with confidence, their pitching seems to be improving overall (with some obvious exceptions), and I think they match up well with Auburn.
