Georgia's in the BCS, as is USC.

Illinois didn't belong in the BCS.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Screw that.  I wanna see someone hang up 80 in a bowl :)

Boise was 1-6 vs BCS conf teams from 2001 until they beat your Sooners including blowout losses to Ark, So Car and UGa.  Sorry but your Sooners choked against a program none of us should ever lose to like we did when we lost to UNLV.

I got your point, but it isn't OU's fault smaller schools are getting into the BCS mix.  Let's also not forget Utah beat Va. Tech a few years back.  Let's also remember that Louisianna Monroe and App State both beat traditional powerhouses.

Utah beat Pittsburgh, another school that didn't belong in the BCS;  let's not try to claim another top of the line program blew the Big Boy record before OU.

Both.  Georgia is arguably the best team in the country right now, and Hawaii is a nice mid-tier bowl team.

I know it happens.  And yes Boise was a more complete team than this Hawaii team.  They had built up a few seasons for that Fiesta Bowl.  My fear is now every season the BCS and media will try and build a new Boise team like with Hawaii this season.

And for the record, I was pulling big time for OU last year in the Fiesta Bowl, every RRS and in this year's Big 12 CG.

Ah-Ha!  And that's a good thing because it makes a better case for a playoff system of some form.

I say:
           USC 38  Missouri 28
           USC  38   Georgia 34
           Missouri 34 Georgia 38

Georgia would get enough pressure with their front 4 to be able to drop coverage  on Missouri;  I'd take Georgia by something along the lines of 31-17.

USC v. Georgia would be a great game;  I like Georgia's run defense to slow down that USC attack, and force them to try to expand the passing game beyond the TE and FB;  I take Georgia 31-24.

Missouri would not be able to handle the USC front 4;  they'd own Missouri up front, on both sides of the ball, with Sam Baker effectively neutralizing their best pass rusher and run stuffer from the edge.    USC 42, Missouri 14

Yes...it would.   And I would love to see Michigan play LSU also.  I think Michigan-LSU would be a better game than Ohio State.  But...with that said, I'm not so sure that LSU is going to run all over Ohio State.  I hope they do, but...Ohio State surely will come into this game with more motivation than they had last year.  You would think?   But then....????

Motivation doesn't block Glen Dorsey, or cover Early Doucet.    LSU should win that game, and handily.

Other than AU and I guess Bama, this season has been lame and extremely boring.  It is good to see HI get a wake up call into reality.  CB's trash talking has been culled.

Should have been, UGA vs. USC and Mizzou vs. Illini, Hawaii should have played us in the weedwacker bowl.

I agree that LSU "should" run all over Ohio State.  I hope so.  I know one thing.  Georgia would make mincemeat out of Ohio State.

Speaking of Michigan, RR will screw up that program.  He won ONE big game while at WVa and that was by outplaying UGa for a qtr and a half and then holding on for the rest of the game.  Mich has a long legacy of producing NFL qb's and good rb's.  RR will totally change that.  Mich just needed help in defensive philosophy and players.  Not an offensive change.

It's the Big Ten, so he won't need to win more than one big game every other year to become a legend.

Michigan fans may be calling for RR's head in a few years.  I don't think he's the right fit for Michigan.

It will boil down to whether or not Michigan thinks that he will do it the Michigan way;  if they try to force him into the Michigan mold, he will be a bust, and be gone in 3 years.

If they let Rodriguez do his thing, they can give the rest of the Big Ten an absolute fit, starting next year, and can actually give OSU a serious challenge for conference supremacy.
