Arkansas joins Mississippi State, Missouri, Arkansas State and Louisiana Tech. Scott, 6-6, 295, is the fifth in-state recruit in the Class of 2020 to be offered in the state.
Could Be Soon
Carthage (Texas) 2020 offensive lineman Ty’kieast Crawford made his second visit to Arkansas in just over a month. He was at an earlier Prospect Day.
Crawford still has Arkansas at the top of his favorite’s list. He said he will make a final decision on his college either in two weeks on his birthday or following his senior season.
He recently decommitted from Baylor where he was pledged to the last time he visited the Hogs. Since then a long list of schools have offered him including USC, Texas, Alabama, Georgia and others.
Crawford said he loves everything about Arkansas.
A pair of Lufkin (Texas) 2020 recruits made their way to Fayetteville. Wide receiver Ja’lynn Polk and safety Jerrin Thompson have the Hogs high on their list.
Arkansas is in the top 2-3 schools for both. Polk said Arkansas, Houston and Baylor are at the top of his list. Thompson also had the Hogs very high.
Still The One
Owasso (Okla.) 2020 running Isaiah Jacobs said he still has a long way to go to make a decision. He said several schools are coming by this spring.
He did say following his Arkansas visit though that no matter who comes in the Hogs will be at the top of his list.
He is the younger brother of former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs who could be the first player taken at his position in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Trio of Texas TEs
Arkansas hosted three of the top tight ends in Texas on Saturday. The three were Crockett’s Allen Horace, McKinney North’s Brandon Frazier and Dallas Bishop Dunne’s Elijah Yelverton.
The Hogs are still in the mix for each of them.
