Highland Park (Texas) 2020 quarterback Chandler Morris was named The Opening Dallas Regional MVP at quarterback on Sunday.
Morris, the son of Arkansas coach Chad Morris, was one of approximately 50 quarterbacks in the competition today. He helped lead the Scots to a state championship and perfect 16-0 record this past season as well.
The younger Morris has offers to such schools as Oklahoma, Clemson, Auburn, Colorado, North Texas, Kansas and SMU in addition to Arkansas.
In 2018, Morris passed and ran for 4,430 yards and 62 touchdowns in his first season as a starter.
Marshall (Texas) wide receiver Savion Williams has released his Top 8 schools on Sunday as well.
The Hogs will get a visit from him on Saturday. He announced the favorites on Twitter.

In addition to the Razorbacks, Williams had TCU, Baylor, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, SMU and Memphis on his list.
As a junior, Williams caught 42 passes for 659 yards and 12 touchdowns while also rushing nine times for 37 yards.
