Arkansas has several offers out for the Class of 2020 and currently has two commitments.
They have pledges from Alpharetta (Ga.) Denmark wide receiver Ze’Vian Capers and New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr cornerback Jamie “Greedy” Vance.
Here’s a closer look at five prospects who might be considered good bets to also choose the Hogs.
Catrell Wallace, OLB, 6-6, 215, Bryant — This talent helped lead Bryant to the Class 7A state championship. He is long prospect who can also run. He has the great length colleges look for to come off the edge at outside linebacker. He was offered by the Hogs on Oct. 27. He has since also been offered by Arkansas State, Houston, Virginia, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Monroe. He will be at Arkansas on March 9. As a junior, finished with 79 tackles, two sacks and three blocked kicks.
Savion Williams, WR, 6-4, 195, Marshall (Texas) — Arkansas is likely the leader here. He will be in Fayetteville on March 9. As a junior, caught 42 passes for 659 yards and 12 touchdowns, rushed nine times for 37 yards and completed 3 of 3 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He was offered by Arkansas on Sept. 7. He also has offers to Memphis, Illinois, Baylor, Arkansas State, TCU, Kansas, SMU, Missouri, North Texas, Indiana, Texas Tech, Texas State, Southern Miss and Bowling Green.
Brandon Frazier, TE, 6-7, 231, McKinney (Texas) North — Arkansas needs to add a tight end or two in this class. Frazier, who is a good basketball player, fits in what the Hogs want to do with the tight end. As a junior, he caught 37 passes for 513 yards and five touchdowns. He will be at Arkansas on March 9 which will be his fourth trip to see the Hogs. He was offered by Arkansas on June 9 following a great performance at a camp. He also has offers to Oklahoma State, TCU, Boston College, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, SMU, Iowa State, Purdue, Texas-San Antonio, Kansas State, Kansas, LSU, Colorado, Liberty, Texas Tech, Minnesota and Baylor.
Ty’kieast Crawford, OT, 6-6, 310, Carthage (Texas) — A big-time offensive lineman who will return to Arkansas on March 9. He has already been to one prospect day and now is headed back to another. He decommitted from Baylor this week.
