UPDATE: The University of Arkansas released the following statement:
University of Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson announced that Jordan Phillips has decided to transfer from the Razorback men’s basketball program. Phillips, a freshman from Fort Worth, Texas, played in seven games and posted averages of 5.4 minutes, 1.4 points and 0.7 rebounds.
Jordan Phillips is leaving the Arkansas Basketball team just 13 games in to the season.
According to Jeff Goodman, a Basketball Analyst at WatchStadium.com, Phillips will transfer to another university.

The freshman has only played in 7 games this year due to a meniscus injury he suffered during the offseason.
Phillips played just 38 minutes for the Razorbacks and shot 3-20 from the field, 0-6 from the three point line and 4-4 from the charity stripe.
