Arkansas Returns to Practice Field preparing for LSU

By Otis Kirk

Arkansas hit the practice field on Tuesday evening as cooler temperatures were present in Fayetteville.

The Razorbacks will be at home for the final time this season on Saturday when LSU comes to town. It will be Senior Night with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff televised on the SEC Network.

Early in some team drills during the practice Connor Noland was taking some second-team reps behind Ty Storey.

It appeared the scrimmages with the younger players caused some to be banged up with defensive end Courtre Alexander among them. He had his left arm in a cast at Tuesday’s practice and was only watching.

Some players in green protective jerseys were defensive tackle Briston Guidry, wide receivers Jared Cornelius and De’Vion Warren, linebacker Dre Greenlaw and defensive back Kevin Richardson.

Running back Devwah Whaley still isn’t practicing, but appears to be a possibility to play on Saturday. Senior offensive guard Johnny Gibson was in a regular red jersey, but was just watching during the open portion to media.

The offensive consisted of Austin Capps at left guard and Hjalte Froholdt on the right side. Brian Wallace at right tackle and Colton Jackson at left tackle. Ty Clary was the center.
