Arkansas assistant Ron Cooper was in attendance Thursday night to watch New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr edge New Orleans Easton 21-20 to remain undefeated.

Edna Karr has top 2019 Arkansas target cornerback Devin Bush. He will visit Arkansas officially for the LSU game. On Thursday, Arkansas also extended an offer to Bush’s teammate, 2020 cornerback Jamie Vance, 5-11, 160. The offer left Bush elated.

The Hogs have a bye week so the coaches are spread around the country seeing some top talent in both the 2019 and 2020 classes. Chad Morris saw Arkansas commitment Richmond (Texas) Fort Bend Travis linebacker Zach Zimos play on Thursday night. Zimos committed to the Hogs on July 28.

While watching Zimos, Morris also made a strong impression on at least one person there.

The  Razorbacks are in several states looking at talent. Joe Craddock and Dustin Fry will see Iowa Central offensive lineman Myron Cunningham today. This was one day after seeing Lackawanna (Pa.) Community College offensive lineman Chibueze Nwanna on Thursday. Those are Arkansas’ two key targets from the junior college ranks and both will be at Arkansas on Dec. 7-9 for official visits.

Tonight, Justin Stepp and Steve Caldwell will be at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy to watch wide receiver Shamar Nash and defensive end Eric Gregory play. Both are committed to the Razorbacks.
