Arkansas has extended a preferred walk-on offer (PWO) to Cabot defensive back Zhane Harper.

Harper (6-0, 173) has helped Cabot to a 3-4 season including a 41-21 victory over Little Rock Central this past Friday night. In seven games, Harper has 74 tackles, seven pass breakups and six interceptions.

The talented, speedy Cabot defensive back announced the offer on Twitter on Thursday night.

He currently holds offers to Seton Hill, East Central University, Northwestern Oklahoma State and Missouri Baptist. Arkansas State also offered him a preferred walk-on spot on Thursday night as well.

Harper’s fastest laser 40-yard dash is 4.43. He has an impressive highlight film through the first seven games.

Among the others holding a PWO from Arkansas are Shiloh Christian offensive lineman Logan Kallesen, Searcy offensive tackle Andrew Vest, Conway quarterback Jovoni Johnson and Memphis (Tenn.) Briarcrest tight end Richard Hunt.
