That sucks. I hope it heals up and he's 100% before the draft.

Was it a celebrating dive or a goaline dive to get teh TD?
If it was a celebrating dive, then he's stupid.

True, saw it this on Fox Sports.  Peterson broke his collarbone falling in the endzone.

No, I know that it happened, but you would think this would be a top story on either ESPN or other websites.  Pretty strange?????

You mean the "father" who is a convict?  Who was in prison for 10 years for laundering drug money?  Sorry - can't find it in my heart to feel sorry for him.

I saw the Stoops press conference after the game, he said that right now the best estimate would be for a bowl game return.

If they had tried harder, they might have a backup named Felix Jones ready :)

Wonder if they will play that LA freshman Brown, that we wanted

Adrian Peterson broke his collarbone diving into the end zone on a great run. He dove in because he felt he had to in order to avoid a tackle and because he was giving 100% like he always does. He is a great player and seems like a fine young man. He was showing his father what he can do for the first time in person for 9 years. He is the best running back I've seen in a long time and I wish him a speedy recovery.

he was finishing a run. it wasn't a showy-type thing. laid flat for a second or two, then got up awkwardly to greet his teammates. stood very still.

broke my left collarbone in a motorcycle wreck. i've had several breaks but that was by far the most painful.

Hate to hear it....Because of A.P. I was kind of rooting for OU. He's one hell of a football player. OU's season just went down the toilet.

Collarbone ranks right with ribs on pain cause nothing they can really do for it and you move it all the time.

And I was not inferring he was showboating.  Just glad Dmac just runs in, hands i to the ref and flexes a little.

Link to story. Probably his last college game as I suspect he will be in next year's draft.

Should Stoops have had their meal ticket in that game late?

Glad Nutt got DMAC out when he did

Peterson should not have been in the game.  Up 4 scores 27-9, with under 10 to play.

Just another reason why I hate OU.  Pimping your Heisman canidate, only to then lose him for the year.  How sad.   :'(

18 pts up is THREE scores, and ten minutes is a helluva lot of time left in a game.  AP didn't do anything wrong, and neither did Stoops.  Just a bad break and bad luck.

There goes his Heisman....
