Didn't Booth and the old Pigpen folks get an email campaign going to hire Nutt back in 97? they flooded JFB's offcie to let him know Hoston was the people's choice? Truth or Fiction?

This T shirt deal has grown legs the Ark TImes article today.

I had AOL back then and I was spending a lot of time in college football chat rooms, when a fellow hog fan in the chat gave me Pigpen's web address.  From that day forward, I've been hooked.  I don't recall the campaign but it was after they hired Nutt before I began posting.  Wouldn't surprise me though.  I bet HSV or someone would know.

Would it help if you gave us the addy?  You know for the sake of the program. .

The pigpen is no longer.  There were at least 3 boards by my estimation, that splintered off when the the board went toes up.

HDN's hiring happened while the KARK board was the main (only) gathering place.  Booth started the Pigpen not too long after.  I was SearcyHog on the KARK board, due to the fact that I still lived in the old hometown back then.

You're off by a year, or so.  Pigpen was thriving when HDN was hired.  The email campaign business isn't true, either.  Never happened, in fact, most of the old heads were screaming for Tubberville to be hired, and bitching about the whole committee process even back then.  That was stupid on its' face.

There were plenty of folks who supported hiring Nutt, to be sure, but there was no organized email campaign to hire him, not by any stretch.
