Bryce Drew from Vanderbilt. I know they suck this year but this guy is an up and coming stud, took Valparaiso to the 2nd round 2 times, took Vanderbilt to the tournament in his 1st year there. He's a great recruiter, runs great offensive scheme. What do you guys think?

Both of those coaches are really really good.

But Mike Anderson is our coach until he decides he doesn't want to be.

No coach has that deal.  If Roy Williams started missing the NCAA tourney on a regular basis he'd find himself "retired" earlier than he had planned.  Mike hasn't even won anything at Arkansas for him to fall back on.

He has Nolan. In the minds of many that is enough.

I still say a Coach who is currently at Stephen F. Austin would be a good option.

A quote from the following article.

"He is probably one of the best interior coaches in the game of basketball in the world, in my opinion," Gillispie would say of Cox later.

Hopefully the new AD is doing his research in case the bottom finishes falling out this season, in which IMO change would be needed. Unfortunately with the massive misuse of funds on the football program, saddled with massive buyout money for a coach and an AD, you wonder if they would want to add  another coach to the buyout list and be having to pay for two football coaches and two basketball coaches and two AD's?

We fired Nolan when he couldn't keep us on top.  I don't know what to tell y'all if you think Mike Anderson has a lifetime contract.

So you think we need to be looking at a guy who has never had a D1 HC job? Must be a relative of yours, it's the only way to explain why you would post this!!!!!

My top pick is coaching a women's team. And no, not at Arkansas.

It doesn't matter.  Either you can coach or you can't coach.

His 77.5% winning percentage over 9 seasons as a Head Coach in JUCO shows that he can coach.

Well we did just give him an extension about two weeks ago.

Kinda looks like he has decided.

And about seven years ago too.
I said...LSU has often been an overrated team.

That ignoramus Draconian Sanctions said..if we're overrated, why are we ranked higher than you are?

Well actually Vanderbilt is a pretty good basketball program so I guess it would just depends on how much he likes it there.  I would assume that if you can win at a very high academic school like Vanderbilt, you can win anywhere.

Absolutely this ... Mike has a very prominent and outspoken firewall between himself and unemployment ...
