nobody called him a thug. huh.
Was he a henchman for someone?  That's what I think when I hear "thug".  The brawn behind the brains of bad guys.  Usually has to do with violence also.  Nothing to do with race or ethnicity.    Could be white, black, Chinese, Russian (very common with Russian mob),Sicilian etc.,

You are pathetic.

Nope. YOU are pathetic. Read the article. Meth brought down someone who had achieved, worked, and lived. Not a thug. Thugs don't care about life at all.

Exactly the point of my post . Please re-read. I was responding to a post that inferred  he wasn't called  a thug because he's Caucasian.

It was actually WW1 for the Stormtroopers to get pumped for attacking trenches.

Storm troopers in WW I ? I am thinking WWII.

"Stormtroopers were specialist soldiers of the German Army in World War I. In the last years of the war, StoŖtruppen ("Shock troops" or "Thrust Troops") were trained to fight with "infiltration tactics", part of the Germans' new method of attack on enemy trenches."

Sorry about the bad news, but part of the problem today is we donít call it what it really is. It wasnít a mistake it was a choice and a bad one . If true and itís meth I hope they throw the book at him. Have you seen what meth does to people? Not try to offend anyone that knows him itís just how I feel about this issue and the people that push this crap.

You donít throw the book at addicts. That does nothing to help society. You want to do something throw the book at the drug pushers or the companies that are pushing these other drugs on people that are getting them addicted.

I hope your  not one that thinks that addiction is a disease and not a choice. I took it that there was also intent. You also canít help someone who dose not want help, lock them up and let them think about their life. Nobody made the guy take meth or anything else he chose that himself. I donít mean to sound insensitive I just donít feel sorry for people that make bad choices knowing what the consequences of their choices are. I feel for his family and friends because of the hurt his bad choices caused them. I have made my share of bad choices and faced the consequences of those choices and maned up and owned them because it was nobodyís fault but my own. Personal responsibility has been forgotten these days.

If there was intent to sell then yes he should be locked up.  If itís just him using he should not be locked up.  I also have made some dumb decisions in my life and have taken responsibility for them.  Addiction isnít something that should be locked away unless that person has harmed someone else.  If he hasnít harmed anyone else with his addiction then prison is not going to fix a person that is an addict.

We have enough people in prison. Itís time America tries something different because the prison system isnít a place for rehabilitation of drug users.   Prison is just punishment. Itís why you see a lot go back, because they donít learn crap from prison other than how to be more of a criminal.

I love the death penalty to drug dealers idea. Won't ever happen in this country though. We have more important issues being pushed like gun control even though drugs and alcohol kill way more people than guns.  Seems Mr. Moore has become a drain on society. Just a worthless waste. Hope he can change that.

In my opinion when you ďdealĒ drugs it is at the very least attempted manslaughter and yes the book should be thrown at them addicted or not.  People these are YOUR kids they are selling to, why gor the love of God(and you families) do you allow it to continue?

Are you talking about the time in College when he was caught driving with a blunt in his hand, or when he was chased by the Benton and Bryant police where I witnessed him being laid out on the service road along I-30?

Wait.  Somebody chased down Cedric Cobbs?

Except for the Grace of God, that would be me. Mine wasnít meth, mine was pain meds. I feel like I was over medicated at first, but when it got hard to get them legally, I would do just about anything to get relief. Iím glad I didnít get stuck on illegal stuff. Luckily I had a good support group that I attended and they continue to help. That was over 20 years ago. I donít even like taking Tylenol anymore.

This is just another reason the only way to not get addicted to something is not to ever try it. I seriously doubt he intended to end up like this the 1st time he tried meth. A drunk does not intend to end up a drunk the 1st time he takes a drink. No one goes out to be a coke head the 1st time they they do a line either.

Whites want thugs(of any color) in prison
Blacks want them walking the streets killing 5 year olds with stray bullets.

Until blacks stop this racism thing and start owning their own peopleís actions it is only going to get worse as it has been doing steadily for the last few years.

Iím white and what expect is for this manís punishment to fit the crime.  Is that what you would want if he were black or would you simply want him to walk away free?

We may be on the same train or we may not be but itís not because I donít want you in the seat next to me.  I most definitely do want you on the train, you can sit wherever you please.

Whole lotta yikes goin on here

It's a Razorback, one of the naturally meanest animals on earth.

Which is a ____.

It's not a pig, a pig is a domesticated farm animal.

Think I'm gonna pass on the input on what's right/wrong and fair from a guy who doesn't know a Razorback is a pig.

yep, the Saline County boys got him. I think like 8-9 years ago. Evidently a pretty good car chase 5rough Benton then on to I-30 between Bryant and Alexander if I remember correctly.

Ah, gotcha. Know quite a few beer drinkers throughout the state, but none to my knowledge with the last name Hogo. Now me personally, I am a cold beer drinker. You should check out the callus on my pop top finger. If you ever need one, I got a cooler in the back with a 12 pack ready to roll. Also, I'm a killer karaoke country singer, and a top-water rattle-trap spinner bait slinger early in the morning when they're biting. Come fall though, when the Hogs are on, I'm king of the grill and also a short putt sinker most weekends, but all in all, I'm just a cold beer drinker.

In my opinion when you “deal” drugs it is at the very least attempted manslaughter and yes the book should be thrown at them addicted or not.  People these are YOUR kids they are selling to, why gor the love of God(and you families) do you allow it to continue?

So you should agree that alcohol and liquor stores should fall under these parameters too.???

Well, at least you've got that going for ya!

Problem is we donít really have prisons we have country clubs for the criminally intent.

Have you ever been to prison in the United States? I haven't but know that it is extremely violent, drug riddled and psychologically distressing. Make it worse? You realize that our prisons are so overcrowded that a lot if not most of them get out early. So they'll be back in the same community (yours, ours) they got arrested in with little to no chance of getting a good job after being locked up with often the only people they trust and will still deal with them are other prisoners/former prisoners. It's a recipe for disaster, and it's not working.

Maybe they wouldnít be overflowing if they werenít country clubs for the criminally intent.  Other than that, yes itís a deep subject you could write a book or several hundred about.
