Why not Clint Stoerner?
« on: November 09, 2017, 11:08:07 pm »

Give him a six year pass and let him assemble his assistants accordingly.  Pay
him fairly but on a show cause for hope basis on 2 year contracts.  You want someone
with Texas ties, loves the Hogs, and wore the helmet at one of the highest moments in
somewhat recent Arkansas history.  He still has passion for the game and while his voice isn't as deep Bear Bryant's you can still tell the game has not passed him by.
Hammer away, but I want someone that knows what it's like to play in front of 100k
and calling the shots just as he did against Tenner.

Arkansas must be passing out the Medical weed already...Not that their is anything wrong with it..   Cause someone is High as Hell if a D1 Power 5 Football Program hires a Head Coach that has 0 coaching experience..

Good God - Hell - why not just hire Nolan? Obsession with former Razorbacks who have absolutely zero qualifications drive me insane.

Hogville should require an IQ test for membership - at least double digits.

I want at least a 3rd generation Arkansan who never crossed the state border until his 1st away game as a Hog. Having an out-of-state residence at any time should be a disqualification. Lastly, I want a coach who can spend hours talking about the GSD and does quite often.

Best part of this post is 6 year pass! That isn't worth 5 minutes. First bad loss and we would be yelling about why would anybody get a 6 year pass.

Clint is one of my all time favorite Hogs.
I love to listen to his analysis of the team.
But he's never coached. Coaching and playing are apples and oranges.
UALR learned that lesson the hard way when they hired Sidney as BB coach.
