I’d rather have an up and comer, but he’s better than Bielema.  He’s a “we could do worse” candidate.

Um, we could do a whole lot worse.  A whole lot.  And probably will.

If there's any chance Gundy's interest in getting out of Stillwater and/or he's interested in the Arkansas job, get him now.

He’ll choose A&M or LSU for recruiting or Mixzou or Tennessee for ease of schedule first.

Let’s be realistic. We’re not hiring anything more than an up and comer this time.

He'd basically be recruiting the same area he is now so that would be a plus.

Gundy will get a much better job than ours if he wants it.

We'll get an up and comer type.  Probably someone we weren't expecting.  Someone many of us probably haven't even heard much of.  But in keeping with tradition, we'll hail him as the 2nd coming of Saban.

I agree. Hopefully we will have enough sense not to give him a prohibitive buyout.

Tennessee will

Lot of unreasonableness at UT. I know we have our share, too. But I bet he'd be more comfortable here.

If this is the first time to hear he isn't happy, i'd agree but its been said for several years now and don't think it's just for a raise.

What has he done at OK lite that makes people want him here?  He's had some success, but not the kind that says he would do better in the SEC.

I was excited the morning of the bb hire when gundy was floated as the pick to throw everyone off.  Would have been waaay better

He’s won a hell of a lot of games if you’re into that kind of thing.  I wouldn’t give him some ridiculous amount of money but if he wants out at OSU I think Arkansas should be interested.

Instead of an up and comer or a "meh" hire like Gundy, let's go after the hot D and O coordinators. Working for Georgia.

In the big 12. Beilema won a hell of at lot games too in the big 10. Just saying.  We need something better than gundy and Brett.

No doubt....Lots of games in the Big 12.  One conference championship in 2011.  I just don't think that translates to lots of wins in the SEC.  Maybe this year, but I'm just not sure it would most years.  I'd be more interested in Venables at this point.

Bob Stoops is available. I think that he might of  had the same "ailment" that Urban Cryer had.
