Predictions: Will 10-point underdog @VandyFootball sink at The Swamp vs. @FloridaGators? We're not so sure. http://tnne.ws/2wmRmkl

Quote
Vanderbilt will try to rebound. No. 20 Florida will try to ride its run of good fortune.

The Commodores (3-1, 0-1 SEC) are coming off a 59-0 loss to No. 1 Alabama. The Gators (2-1, 2-0 SEC) have pulled out two late wins over Tennessee and Kentucky. They will meet in The Swamp at 11 a.m. Saturday on ESPN.

Despite Florida being a 10-point favorite, our panel is split on picking this game. Here are our predictions for Vanderbilt at Florida:

John Adams (columnist)

Florida 24, Vanderbilt 13: The Commodores had the misfortune of playing Alabama last week. Florida has the good fortune of having the luckiest coach in America on its sideline.

Taping right ankle of Cleveland. Don't know any reason for him to go back on the field at this point.

Vanderbilt loses 38-24 to Florida: 5 things you learned

Quote
Commodores fell to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in SEC play. The Gators improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in SEC play. Here are five things we learned from Vanderbilt’s road loss:

Vanderbilt was hurt by Florida quarterback’s injury
[Vandy had been covering the UF receivers while Jack Del Rio's son was under center.]

[Heir apparent,] Feleipe Franks, who threw the Hail Mary game-winning TD pass to beat Tennessee, replaced Del Rio and immediately completed a 49-yard pass to set up a game-tying field goal just before halftime. Franks then led Florida on back-to-back TD drives in the second half.

Kyle Shurmur was hot and cold, but got no help

After heading into halftime with the game tied at 17, the Commodores were outscored 21-7 in the second half and fell for the second game in a row, losing 38-24 at Florida.

Derek Mason said injured CBs Tre Herndon and Bryce Lewis should both return next week vs Georgia. Should get secondary back to full strength

Vandy has yet to rush for 75 yards as a team against an FBS opponent this season. Last year, it averaged 164.5 rushing yards per game.
