COACH MONICA SAYS
On the team's overall performance "I thought we played a complete game. I think the offense did a great job moving the ball and putting points on the board. On defense, we bent a lot there but we didn't break, and then we got the turnovers we needed to get off the field. I'm excited that we've scored on special teams the last two weeks. I thought we had a chance there to get a good return, but you never expect to be able to score on it because it doesn't happen very often. Stringer did a great job making first guys miss, and the guys did a good job blocking. And Clayton Watson's 69-yard punt pinned them inside the 10-yard line. I know he had the wind, but he's got a very strong leg and I'm very proud of how hard he's worked. Eric Perez has kicked the ball extremely well, and he was able to come in today and kick a couple of field goals for us."

NEXT UP
The Wonder Boys return home to face Ouachita Baptist on Saturday, September 30. Kickoff from Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field is set for 6 p.m.
