« on: September 19, 2017, 04:42:59 am »

Dion Kevin III, president of the Ole Miss Associated Student Body, announced on Monday that the school will be voting for a new mascot

Quote
“The Landshark, as we know it today, has its origins in football but has since expanded to symbolize Ole Miss’ fight[ing] spirit and athletic prowess,” wrote Kevin, according to The Clarion-Ledger. “On September 26th, we will all have the chance to leave a legacy of unity and excitement in a referendum vote in this year’s Fall Election.”

Black Bear replaced longtime mascot Colonel Reb.
