I know this has been discussed before however my short term memory loss is screwing me. Where is the best bbq in town? Thanks in advance.

The brisket at the food truck in JBGB is excellent.

I like Sassy's. Their BBQ is good, but for me what separates them is their french fries and fried okra.

I haven't had it, but I've been told this, too.

Probably by the bartender that stopped by the table and told me at the same time.

Then I tried it and realized there was no BS in her tone.

Fayetteville isn't a great bbq town.

If we go out for bbq it's usually whole hog or lucky lukes,  though I think the guy who owned whole hog passed and it's certainly declined in quality over the past couple of years imo.

I thought it was pretty good.  The sauce is a little sweet but they didn't include much and I didn't miss it.  I got the sandwich with pulled pork, sausage and a brisket so I could try a variety of meats.  Thought they were all pretty well done, and edible brisket is a rarety in Fayetteville. I'll definitely swing by next time I have a free friday.
