Great for Dominic but I can't quite understand why Cortes from USCe is first team ahead of Fletcher...

While I think there isn't much difference between Fletcher & Cortes, Cortes is very deserving.

Check their stats below, Cortes hit just as many homers as Fletcher, and drove in 4 more runs, in 52 less at bats. Plus he had a higher OBP & SLG percentage.

Carlos Cortes, South Carolina   .286/.368/.565   168   27   48   12   41   5

Dominic Fletcher, Arkansas   .291/.356/.495   220   44   64   12   37   1

I agree Cortes is deserving and have no qualms with him... I didn't realize the AB situation.

I am really not sure which would give you the higher war - a 933 OPS at 168 at bats or an 851 OPS at 220 ABs.  that is over 30% more ABs than Cortes.  depending on the walks, because PAs are more important, a player that plays 30% more is more valuable... regardless of the reason.
