Winning ugly at the Traveler's
« on: June 26, 2017, 05:16:35 pm »

Anyone see the final few holes from Sunday?  While Spieth won, it certainly wasn't his best play but a win is a win.  Pretty good finish by Daniel Berger to get in the hunt for another title in short order.

I watched it.  For a guy who just two short years ago was being called the world's best putter, Spieth is very close to looking like he has the yips.  He missed 3 putts inside of 4 feet, just on the back 9.  I guess that's why he holed that bunker shot in the playoff - if you do that you don't have to putt.

the tour needs McIlroy and DJ to go on about a 3 tournament binge where they are both playing well and are in the final grouping on Sunday....now THAT would be interesting golf

Along that line of thinking, it wasn't that long ago when we thought Rory, Jordan and Jason Day would do exactly that.

Jordan hasn't exactly impressed in (at) the majors since his BTB Masters and US Open victories.

What the heck has happened to Jason Day?
Considering who he's married to, it wouldn't be a bad idea to try some slump buster positions...

And Rory seems lost as well.

Its a fickle game, this thing called golf.

All that is needed to be known about the play on the PGA Tour so far this season is the following.

The best golf played in the world so far this season has been by Bernhard Langer and So Yeon Ryu.  Langer has won 2 Majors so far this season (won them in back-to-back weeks).

So Yeon Ryu just carved up Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers.  She shot a 61 on Saturday at Pinnacle.  Her Round of 61 was 10 Birdies and 0 Bogies.  Her play Saturday at Pinnacle was just epic golf.

Lol, I really think you are a moderator or something on here just trolling with this screen name.

Oh and btw, langer got waxed when he went head to head on the PGA tour, so he's. It even close to best in the world right now unless over 60
