thank goodness for deer season
« on: October 08, 2016, 08:19:30 pm »

I'm always thankful I have deer season to go to when the football season is less than perfect.  I wonder how tough it must be for people that don't hunt.

Got these guys hanging around.  Hope to see them soon.

Beautiful buck!  Are you going to let him mature a year or two more before you attempt to harvest?

The 9 point needs a year.  The 10 point has aged enough for my freezer.

Bet you don't have any trouble rolling out of bed knowing he's around.
Hope you see him first.

Should be a good morning tomorrow. Big drop in the temperature tonight. Under 2min. in the 4th, no timeouts. Gonna take a 7 step drop & heave a Hail Mary in the end zone.
