Pokemon Go
« on: July 14, 2016, 10:40:24 am »

Pokemon Go anyone?  It's big here in Florida, seem we're just stocked with water and flying type.  My Jolteon is going a long way in gyms.  Seems all my friends out West are catching geodudes like crazy and I've yet to see a single one.

Kind of depressing to think that I have 52 in my Pokedex, I'm caught/hatched 406 of the buggers, but I still have a maximum of at least 700 more guys to catch to fill out my Pokedex unless I catch some evolved guys, and that's just the ones I don't have.

Has it caught on much in Arkansas?

I won't lie, I play it.  I downloaded it to play with the kids but I have found myself searching for Pokémon at work and when I am out even if the kids are not around.

I don't know the names for anything but I am catching a bunch of the worms (widdles I think) and birds as well as some little green thing.  If I can get my phone to log in, I will update the names.

Ingress is way better and more adult friendly than Pgo. Same company and uses almost all the same locations.

I grew up a long time ago and put the controllers and games away.....mainly because I sucked at it.

I tried ingress and didn't like it at all.

What were your issues with it? I really enjoy playing it.

It's not really all that much fun unless you get in with a group of people playing it.

Pokemon Go is one of the few games you can't play in your mother's basement.  I would guess that Pokemon Go fans have a much better chance with women compared to the other games often mentioned in this forum for two reasons, 1) You'll probably stay fat playing COD or an equally childish game of Clash of Clans. 2) Women actually enjoy playing Pokemon Go.

Have no idea what a pokeman is but they're in downtown Paragould walking around hunting them. At least it gets the kids out of their house.
