   "Sam Pittman"

Probably get blasted for this but Pittman is a great recruiter but he needs to step it up on coaching the Oline, we have not ran the ball well starting with the Georgia game. The Oline gets whipped every game both blocking for running and pass blocking.

WorfHog

We haven't ran well in SEC play. Needed to feed Henry,  but it didn't happen?

We have not RUN the ball very well.

OLs are among the slowest things to build in all of football.

Yeah, we're big, but we're also not particularly mature or deep;  our two best OL are sophomores, and we have some very limited athletes that have been asked to do things.    There is a reason why we don't screen; there is a reason why we fade in the 4th;  there is a reason why we struggle with speed edge teams.

It isn't Pittman not coaching.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

It takes time to develop versatile linemen who can run and pass block.

Have we progressed as a line?

Have we progressed as a line?

From last year? Yeah.   We're still struggling, in a bunch of different areas, but not as many as before.

Next year, we'll be a little better, and a bit deeper.  The biggest issues to figure out are going to be interior pass protection around the A gap, and how to improve our tackles in space, against edge pressure.

Have we progressed as a line?

Yes.  Better than last year, better at this point then against Auburn.

I like Pittman and think his line will be really solid next year.

Let me explain how this works...  If I have four really good meals in a row, I am thankful for that and I do not withhold my thanks for fear that the next meal might suck.
