All of the attempts at naming this game sound like somebody's  12 year old daughter talking about her boyfriend.

If it's going to be a true rivalry then the name will come from something of significance that happened during or around the time of one of the games.

Melodrama on TV is bad enough so why let it infect this game?

I know it is all geographical but for us folks in northern Arkansas, this is going to be a really fun game. There are a lot of Mizzou fans in northern AR and a lot of Hog fans in southern MO. We are all super excited that we get to play MO every year.

But its not Borderline Rivalry it's Battle Line Rivalry.  Borderline Rivalry, altho not very good either, makes way more sense.  What does Battle Line Rivalry even mean--it's nothing any of us can relate to really.

let the games (in all sports) play out, and when/if a "real" rivalry ensues, then the name will come naturally.

It seems like We're just as eager to manufacture this rivalry, as We complain about the SEC is/was when they changed our schedule & perm East opponent?

IMO, our rival depends on who we play on any given week.

Sums it up. it will never rise to the level of Hogs Vs LSU, Aggies, OM, State, AU or Bama. SEC office screwed us in this whole deal, just another reason to hate LSU and Aggies. Columbia is just a half way point between STL and KC. Place to get gas rivalry?

This.  Missouri is no rival game.  Never has been and probably never will be. Arkansas will dominate this series and there will be no rivalry to it. 

Try as they might rivalry games just can't be dictated by the media and a conference office.
