Scotty Thurman?

No mention of it

In addition to Moncrief and Williamson, Arkansas will bring back former coach Nolan Richardson for a ceremony during the Texas A&M game on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The Razorbacks will raise a banner commemorating Richardson's induction into the Naismith Basketball Memorial Hall of Fame.

Kentucky last year.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Todd Day was a program changer. He is still one of the best hogs ever!

Is Day not the all time scoring leader in program history?    If the game was on the line there was no one better than Day.

He is.  He also broke the school record for steals,  remains 11th for blocked shots 20+ years later, despite playing SG/SF, and remains a top 10 rebounder.

In terms of actual performance on the basketball court, there has never been a more productive Razorback, ever.     It isn't really even that close.

I'll make a prediction: If BCG were to get the Tennessee job, Calipari will be fired from UK within 2 years because from the 2013-2014 season on, Tennessee will own the SEC East until BCG moves on or retires.

he was a stat stuffer. 1st I ever saw pulling transition 3s after steals. That team was ripping a 12-0 run in every game. Sometimes a few of those runs.

Stat stuffing?  Yeah, I guess that's how you end up in the Top 6 of every positive statistical category in basketball in the history of the program at the time of your departure, without cracking the Top 25 in career minutes played.

SMDH.

No way before Sidney. Sidney, Marvin Delph & Ron Brewer built the program.

You can buy tickets for these with the "banner plan" on the Razorbacks website and get all 3 games for 89 per ticket. I picked up pretty decent tickets a couple of weeks ago.

How about just letting these two be honored and then worry about the others another time?

Don't start that crap about comparing Day to Moncrief again, that's and asinine comparison and you know it.

Yeah.   Its a disservice to Day to entertain it.

Because no one knows what happened to it. It was put into storage and disappeared. Someone's got one of the ultimate man cave possessions hanging somewhere.

I'd laugh if it was Nolan, from back in the day's petty revenges.  If it had to be anyone,  I'd want it to be him.

Supposedly Frank got tired of people asking why it was still hanging in Barnhill and he never was a proponent of retiring jerseys anyway. So he had it taken down.

I'm leaning more towards Frank had it put somewhere and forgot where it went.

East TN HAWG

I don't think they should retire the numbers, but hang the jerseys in the rafters of all the greats.  Day, Delph, Brewer Jr/Sr, Day, Thurman. Etc.  we have a rich history of great players and we should honor that history.

Mick Hogger

I think a Ring of Honor would work great. That way you don't have to retire the numbers. Maybe even in the concourse.
