One person saw this Williams breakout coming.
I thought he would be improved but he is exceeding my expectations for sure.

Do you happen to have any rapping skills? I think we could set you up with DJ Khaled and you could make a song entitled, "All I Do Is Bitch"

Bell needs about 32 minutes a game at home.... and maybe 10 a game on the road. Dude is hitting something like 65 percent 3's in Fayetteville dating back to the Georgia game last year but is under 30 percent on the road.

Madden is probably our best guard on the road due to his FT abilities, defense, and the fact that he plays under control. Qualls is up and down. Portis is dominant everywhere.

Ugly Uncle

I thought Williams was a wasted scholorship.  I wanted him to transfer after last year.  My friend kept telling me that with a point guard and someone to push the ball that J. Williams would be a beast.

He was right and I was wrong.  I am still skeptical that he will continue to do it and he keeps proving me wrong.  I really like his game this year.

He missed three     but he buckled down and drained the last one after he really got mad for missing the front end of that one. It was a big one to. It shut the crowd up. He will get better.

I wouldn't say he took. More like Harris gave them to him by fouling uncontrolibly.

Jacorey can't be in at the end during close games. His FT shot is awful
It was a good experience for him.  Hopefully, he settles down at the line.  He has everywhere else.

Jacorey Williams is a very average player.    I really like him and think he should be a nice option on the bench.  No idea what possesses some people to think he is the answer or starting material.  His mid range shot is pretty horrific but he does hustle...I like him.

It's like you're not even watching, dude.

His mid-range shot is "horrific", are you kidding me?

You must have Williams confused with someone else. Up untill last night's game he was shooting 67.6% from the floor on 23 of 34 shots. His real importance is not on offense though, it is on defense when he is at the top of the trap with Watkins. They cause a lot of trouble.

I assure you I'm not kidding.  It's one of the ugliest shots I've seen.  The fact that it's going it is an anomaly I can assure you of that.

Sorry man but I just watch the offense in general ...(also Williams without the ball and he isn't really a great guy in the offense.)  He is a really great contributor and I love him off the bench though.  Those numbers wont hold up over the course of the season and I think we all know that.  Still love the guy and his hustle.

More minutes for Kingsley!  I love what he brings. Coach play him more
I'd rather be dead than be a Vol

I'll tell you who's awesome, and that Manny Watkins. Loving this guy.

Me too man.  I can't remember the last player that every time he checks into the game, I get excited, because I know he's about to make something happen.  Manny may go down as the best walk-on in Hog history.  Although, I think if we lose 3 people (Madden, Portis, Harris) we'll probably sign 1 big and give Manny the last scholarship.

Williams looks good so far, but I like the role he's playing.

There's something to be said about having an energetic 6th man who can infuse some intensity into the game when he checks in.

I hope Jacorey stays within the role he's currently playing for us (off the bench) because it's working right now...

Kingsley made a play in that game that really wowed me.  He caught the ball in the post then did a sort of dribble and turned and shot.   Never would have seen him do that last year and he has obviously improved.

Jacorey had another excellent night;  key decisions down the stretch he made helped put the game away; his last defensive rebound effectively closed out the game.

The MMQBization of Jump Ball will not continue unabated.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Big Nasty 34

Glad Williams is playing within himself this year.
Really, the whole team is so far other than Harris at times. We are really playing team ball and getting good looks on the offensive end. Much better look than last year.

I think Williams should be starting in Harris spot. The game has slowed down for Williams and he has improved in every aspect.
I have to admit, I had hoped he would transfer.  He is getting better but he still scares me.  Glad he stayed.  Still mad at Harris for missing the free throws against Florida last year.

hawgfan4life

I don't care how ugly a shot is if they make 67%.  BTW, what was your opinion of Ronnie Brewer's shot?  He went pro.  I know why he shot that way but it was still abysmal technical speaking.

Must be thinking about last year. He has shot well this year..... really proud of the turn around.

Richard_white

Shawn Marion is one who has an ugly shot.  Jump shooting can improve.  So far I like Williams progression.
