The Broyles Award nominees come out on Wednesday, and while Arkansas defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Robb Smith wasn't among CoachingSearch's leaders for the award, he should be a nominee for the way he's turned around the Razorback defense this year.

Arkansas became the first-ever unranked team to shut out back-to-back ranked teams with a 17-0 win over LSU two weeks ago and a 30-0 win over Ole Miss this past weekend — the most impressive performance of Week 13.

Noted that Arkansas has nine takeaways in the last four games.

I'd rather see him win it for an Arkansas SEC Champion team next year or the year after than for a 5 loss season this year.
