to all the Hog fans that showed up Sat afternoon. I bought my 11 year old tickets to the Ole Miss game about 6 weeks ago for his birthday. It was going to be first game and his first Razorback Gameday experience. As the weekend got closer, I could see rain was going to be inevitable. I was scared he would not be able to get the full Gameday experience. Now, it wasn't a Bama or Texas crowd from the past, but it was better than I ever imagined. For the first time I was looking at the game through the eyes of my 11 year old son, and it was amazing. He will never forget it and neither will I. For those of you who are a parent, you know what it was like to know your son was able to experience an environment like that and how proud I feel and how happy I am. That will give us something to talk about for the rest of our lives.

So I wanted to say thank you to you the fan who braved the weather and made my son's experience so memorable and made my heart smile. WPS  :razorback:

I stood for both the OM and LSU games. Start to finish, save a few moments during halftime and the occasional TO. Everyone around me was standing. The weather contributed, but we were too pumped to NOT stand.

Glad your son had that moment - it is something beyond special to share the Hogs with a young fan.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. Awesome post! This is what makes college football so great and more especially being a Razorback fan. As a young man such as your son, it wasn't just a game, it was a life long memory. Good on ya!
Have you ever listened to someone  or read what they put into thoughts and wondered...."who ties your shoelaces for you?"
