SEC Power Rankings: Week 13 http://es.pn/1veekWh

Hogs are sixth.  Their eight SEC opponents occupy the other top nine spots.

SEC-East teams anchor down the bottom five spots.

Arkansas is the best last place team I've ever seen. Shut out Ole Miss and LSU, lost by 1 to No 1 Alabama, by 7 to No 4 Miss St.

Arkansas also following similar trajectory to Bielema's last few Wisconsin teams, which bludgeoned people last couple weeks of the season.

It is amazing that we are perceived to be in the top half of the best league in the nation.  Who would have thought before the year started.  What a year this has been.  Sky is the limit for the program now.

Since power rankings are supposed to be based on week to week performance, I would argue that we should be ahead of Auburn. Still, top 6 is a nice change from where we were.

We certainly deserve it. We've played every top team team in the league, and not one from the bottom.

This is only making us better.

This seems to happen a lot.

I mentioned these power rankings in another thread.  We're ahead of A&M, LSU and Ole Miss.  Who'd a thunk we'd see this a few weeks ago?

Btw, Butch Davis didn't vote for Arkansas in ESPN's Power Rankings.  I assume this is our Butch Davis?

and we actually tied #4 miss st in regulation. In the vuvuzuela-bell zone.

Crazy tough schedule.

What a way to end the year. The Razorbacks dominated Texas 31-7 in the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl, holding the Longhorns to the fewest yards of any FBS team in a game this season (59). The Hogs enter the offseason with a heap of momentum, finishing with four wins in their final six games. They could take further steps forward next season.
