Bret Bielema coach of the year?

National coach of the year?  Don't get me wrong. Coach B has more than exceeded expectations this year and, should he win out, will create a lot of buzz and momentum moving into next year. Things certainly look bright going forward, but c'mon, there's been some spectacular performances this year.

Dan Mullen, the obvious choice, is one Alabama loss from a possible SECCG and a playoff berth at a perennial doormat school
Hugh Freeze, despite recent sputtering has done outstanding at OM this year
Rich Rod and Todd Graham at the Arizona schools have been very good
Jim Mora at UCLA has done fantastic bouncing back from early losses
Jerry Kill at Minnesota has taken huge steps for that program as well.

Again, not to take anything away from Coach B, because I am more than proud of the hogs, and the job he has done establishing us as possibly THE team to keep an eye on is phenomenal considering what the product was just 3 years ago, but best reward a program that is seeing the fruits of a solid foundation pay off now rather than one than will shortly. His time will come though.
