DVH "Maybe the best fall ball practices we have had ". Wow!

Zach Jackson- 20 to 30 lb's heavier from when he got here.

Eagan hit .350 in the fall and may leadoff and play 1b.  Wiggins wants to win the 1b spot, had the option to try C or 3b.

DH may be a guy that hits for average and not power. The DH may be one of the guys that doesn't earn a spot on the infield.

JC guys, Nomura and Hogan fighting for a spot on the infield.

The players love the indoor practice field, in there all the time. Coming in on their own and calling the coaches to come open the doors.

Down to 38 players, from 48. Will have a roster of 33 or 34.

McAfee is 100% healthy and had a really impressive fall, walked 15 times and SO 5 times and hit 300. McAfee and Bernal will fight for 2b or SS.

Competition on the infield is fierce.

The most disappointing part of the whole Baxendale situation was that he counts against the scholly limit. Not every program is for every kid. Wish him well.

It's a real battle for spots on the infield. Lots of guys competing for every spot. Infielders are hitting the ball well.

Killian could have thrown in the later games of the Fall WS.
