The #8 Gators lost 69-67 at home to Miami (FL).

Random thought 1- Miami held the Gators to 67 pts in Gainesville? Ill be checking for the hurricanes this year in regard to defensive scoring.

#2 Angel Rodriguez sighting. He now plays for Miami. I liked him at K State. Little guy,, huge basket Balls. Should soften the Blow from losing Shane Larkin.

#3 Billy Donovan recently said after a pre season game "We are not the #8 team in the country"

#4 the SEC has not looked impressive thus far.

#5 Kentucky is going to lose more games this year than expected.  They are not a top 5 team... (YET)

How many players is Billy missing right now?

The league can't afford hits like this.

These losses hurt us in March.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Might want to rethink that comment about UK. They won't lose a game this year.
I have 10 to 12 points to make per game.

Sure they will.

This is the year the SEC needs Arkansas to be Arkansas of the 90's. We don't have the men yet, but we need to over-acheive big time.

Disagree on #5. UK looks damn good.

Don't read too much in Florida's loss considering the players they were missing.  I know it was at home against what's supposed to be a pretty "meh" Miami team, but still.

Kentucky is the best team in the country right now and it may not even be all that close between them and #2...right now.  We'll see in March.

I think you meant Kansas because there is no way you can stand behind your original comment.

They looked darn good last night and did look like a top 5 caliber squad. They barely hung with Buffalo at home just a few nights ago before pulling away at the end. I still would put Wisky and Duke ahead of them albeit not by much. One game won't change that. Kansas had an off shooting night and kept driving into the lane getting their stuff punched into the 3rd row. Kentucky hasn't shot  well either. Don't let the media spoon feed you. Remember they weren't supposed to lose any games last year because they had the greatest college team ever assembled. They lost more than 10.
