WOW. We had really stiff competition for this kid so I wasn't really expecting him to commit, but wow that's just fantastic.

Ramsey's been lost trying to play a true LB position. All he had to do in hs was stand up and rush the passer. They may end up being his role here. Graham should be more suited to play the LB position early. Greenlaw is going to get PT for sure next season. Graham might also.

Agreed. I would love to see us have a pass rushing specialist. Graham and Greenlaw look more natural at the LB position...whereas Ramsey is the better pure athlete.

But honestly, in our program, a true freshman should never have to play significant minutes early. But that's what Bielema is forced to do because of what Petrino left him. When this program gets rolling, i'd love to see projects like Ramsey redshirt.

247 Sports says he runs a 5.04 in the 40.  Is that true?!?
We were sitting on the bus one day and there were 5 of us hanging out. There was only one beer left in the cooler and we actually all took a little cup and split it. It was a pathetic day in a rock and roll when five grown men have to be sitting there sharing a beer.

I believe that is inaccurate.  I think I've read where he is closer to 4.5

Flatline

With the offers he has I would have to imagine he is fast and a stud.

Razorbax

Very good get in a need position...Kudos to the staff.

Justifiable Hogicide

Coach B and staff doing an amazing job of selling Arkansas and what he is building here to big time recruits.

Nowhere near 4.5.

Says 4.56 in the link below, but as it is with all kids, who really knows.  I have a tendency to believe its closer to 4.56 than 5.04.  My guess is somewhere in between.

Huckleberry Pig

with his list of offers, not too worried about speed.  I doubt it's over a 4.8 with those types of offers.  May not be a 4.56 but I bet it's closer to that than it is to 5.0.

GREAT pickup for us, this staff continues to impress on the recruiting trail.  Honestly don't know how they do it, esp with our lack of wins.  That said you can tell we are improving and are getting closer to winning big games.  This recruiting keeps up and we will be there very soon.

Also, who was the first florida kid that we were able to snag from the gators?  RD said it's the second one, forgot who the first one was

Yeah I don't see Florida offering a 5.0 40 linebacker

Super-excited about Agem and Graham! We're going to be good here in a few years, I just hope our fan base and admin doesn't get impatient.

Agim isn't committed yet. And if this is any indication, we are losing ground.

I think that Ramsey's woes are just from the speed of the game and learning the system.  I think he will take a big step this off season (hopefully with bowl practices) and take a starting LB spot next year.

I would think that we will see graham or greenlaw attempt to redshirt.  I could see one not playing early in the season to see if we can get by with it, but may be pulled by sec schedule.

These kind of players are also what can really shore up special team issues early on.

The growth before next September should be substantial for Ramsey. I think he sticks at LB and is a force. As a true frosh he is going to be exposed by any OC worth his salt.
I am a Hog fan. I was long before my name was etched, twice, on the sidewalks on the Hill. I will be long after Sam Pittman and Eric Mussleman are coaches, and Hunter Yuracheck is AD. I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. Exactly, and the guy has the physical traits needed for the task at hand.

Folks put way to much emphasis on 40 times.  Last year at the NFL combine only 2 LBs ran in the 4.5s.  If you ran under a 4.7 that would have got you top 10 out of all LB invited.

40 times are probably the most exaggerated stat on message boards.

I was thinking the exact same thing reading through here.  Good LB's have great instincts and that's what separates the great ones.

Yeah, a true 4.7 is the measuring point for ILBs, maybe a little faster for the outside guys.

....and on recruiting sites. KJ Hill ran a  4.59 laser at the Nike SPARQ. Then he is listed on recruiting articles as running a 4.42.

My favorite thing about Graham is that when he made a huge sack or big hit, he didn't stand up and pound his chest or stand over the ball carrier and stare him down....he simply got up and went back the huddle...seems like good all around kid.. glad to have him in the hog pen!!!! WPS
