1.) Mississippi State-Looks like a team of destiny.
2.) Alabama- Suddenly Lane Kiffin seems like a genius.
3.) Auburn- The young ball coach out slugged the old ball coach.
4.) Georgia-King of the East and at least one West team.
5.) Ole Miss- Blowing early opportunities will usually come back to haunt you.
6.) LSU- Never count out the Bayou Bengals.
7.) Kentucky-Played toe to toe with the nation's number one team.
8.) Missouri- An ugly win is a win nonetheless.
9.) South Carolina- Played inspired in a loss.
10.) Texas A and M- They needed the week off.
11.) Florida- Could make their season with a win this week.
12.) Arkansas- A 350 pound quarterback still does not produce a SEC win.
13.) Tennessee- You can't spot Bama 27 points.
14.) Vanderbilt- Played their best game in the SEC at least.

1. Georgia- will beat Mississippi State in SEC title game
2. Misissippi state- due to drop one. Still wins west
3. Auburn- final 4 team after miss st. Loses a game late in season and sec title game
4. Alabama- defense carrying tide this year.
5. Ole Miss- Depends on if good Bo or Bad Bo shows up
6. Arkansas- A quarterback and a kicker away, May have found the kicker. Secondary has issues.
7. LSU- defense is solid. Bad offense even by les miles standards.
8. Missouri- good mauk or Bad Mauk? Is ole miss without the defense
9. Kentucky- improved, best Kentucky team since Pillsbury Throwboy
10. Florida- why can't we play them now?
11. Tennessee- youth plus injuries equals bad results
12. South Carolina- ole ball coach can't get it goin
13. Texas A&M- how did we lose to them? They suck.
14. Vanderbilt- sucks worse.

A&M and SCar have both won a conference game this year. We lost to A&M and Scar beat UGA (who we lost to)

Really???You have to be kidding right? Just because we haven't won a conference game doesn't mean we aren't the 7th or 8th best team in this league....We would have at least 3 SEC Victories if we were in the East division.

The record shows we are the worst and until we change how we judge football teams we will be looked at as the worst.  I can't ever think of a team that lost 16 straight conf games and I considered them anywhere but the worst in the conf. Doesn't matter what conf you are in if you don't win then you will be looked at as the worst by everyone but the homer fans that can't handle that label.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

1.) Mississippi St. - I'm not sold on their defense, but they have the best wins.
2.) Alabama - I think they are the most complete team in the league.
3.) Auburn - Defense has looked suspect as of late.
4.) Ole Miss - Elite defense, but the offense is a concern.
5.) Georgia - I think they could be higher, but they don't have win that really impresses.
6.) LSU - Talented team, but they are weak against the run and spotty at QB.
7.) Texas A&M - I actually want to put the Hogs here, but we did lose to them (even though we really just beat ourselves).
8.) Arkansas - Toughest schedule in the league, but I have to put us above everyone in the east besides UGA.
9.) Kentucky - Very talented QB and good head coach.
10.) South Carolina - Spurrier is a great coach, and they have played well at times.
11.) Florida - A talented team with a terrible QB and bad head coach.
12.) Missouri - Lost at home to Indiana, and shut out by UGA.
13.) Tennessee - They are just too young.
14.) Vandy - Obviously

9-12 are basically interchangeable IMO, but these rankings are based off what I've seen most recently.

I've also never seen a team start their conference schedule with 5 straight top 10 opponents. Twist it all you want, but I guarantee you Vegas doesn't have us valued as the 13th best team in conference.  In a Brett Bielema job security thread, feel free to bring up the SEC losing streak, but the 0-8 last year has no bearing on how this team should be viewed.

I've got us at 10, above FL, TN, & Vandy.  I'd like to think we're better than Mizzou or Kentucky as well, but both have a quality SEC win over SC and have only laid one clunker.
