We noticed that at one point BA was on the sideline during the first half and he was on a table and they were working on his shoulder.  I snapped a picture but I can't get it to post from my phone.  Is his shoulder really healed, and is he tweaking it every week?

SamBuckhart

Looked like there was a problem of some kind. Maybe stiff from last week.

Didn't notice B Allen, but is Alex Collins hurt? last year he was a slashing runner, this year his feet is stuttering in place a little if that makes sense?
I thought Kody Walker ran hard along with J Will.

One other point who's the special team coach, we looked horrible there today ( aside from long FG) we need some work there. The TD return was untouched

I understand the special teams coach is BB.... and yea, this is an area we need to improve big time if we are going to win an SEC game this year

JLS is the special teams guru, or so I've heard.

I know that long TD run was untouched, but that jj Nelson kid has some wheels. I wish we had him on our team.

It definitely stiffened up on him at halftime.  It took about five throws before it got loosened back up. A couple looked pitiful.

His shoulder will be gravel by the time he's done.  Hope he gets his degree.

We didn't start having problems in coverage until we started running in 2nd teamers to give them experience.

We had two freshman/second teamers run around blocks and thus opened up a lane, that makes it easier to go untouched. Now, we do need some more hang time on the kicks, this isn't high school were all it has to do is break the plane.

If BA's shoulder is hurt why is he in? The red shirt guys can't be that bad. If CBB is saying a hurt BA is better than the backups what does that say about the future. If the Hogs are going to lose with BA what does it matter if a backup getting experience gets beat? We are playing young guys at other positions and they say its great experience so why play a hurt QB that may limit the Hog offense....does not make sense. Remember some of the best players were noticed when they came in for an injured players in the past.

Who said it was hurt?

The OP said in his post that the team was working on his shoulder during the game yesterday. Apparently the OP was at the game.

So were lots of us, working on his shoulder doesn't equate to an injury, is the OP a trainer, Orthopedic Surgeon, even a Dr.?? Lots can be going on there, to say it's an injury is a stretch, IMO.

Didn't it look like BA might have hurt his shoulder against Georgia when he got hammered and came out for one play?

Maybe they were just keeping the shoulder loose or it was a little sore. He threw some nice long passes that were right on the money during the game, so I don't believe hos shoulder could be in too bad of shape.

Which is weird, because if you watch the play where he 'hurt' his shoulder.....

He fell down. Pretty squarely and with minimal 'take down' from the defender on his back.

I saw him in the FVille WM a few months back....little guy. His official numbers are cooked worse than our attendance numbers. It doesn't surprise me that falling down in an SEC game hurts his shoulder.

As someone with shoulder injuries, I could definitely see this being the case. Once it gets loose, it's usually fine, but it can tighten up pretty quickly and need loosening back up.

Didn't see any difference in him vs UAB.  He made some great runs and some tough inside runs.  He had two tough games against two great defensive fronts.
Quote from: MaconBacon on March 22, 2018, 10:30:04 amWe had a good run in the 90's and one NC and now the whole state still laments that we are a top seed program and have kids standing in line to come to good ole Arkansas.  We're just a flash in the pan boys.
