No doubt, Heisman-contending QB Dak Prescott makes Mississippi State's offense go. But, "Guess what?" UK offensive coordinator Neal Brown said. "That running back has, what, 700 yards or so? He's playing pretty good. You look at their O-line; they're playing at a high level. They got a couple of wideouts that can go get it. That makes the quarterback's job a whole lot easier." Brown was saying that as a way to make his point that the Cats have to play better around their own QB, Patrick Towles, but his point is worth noting for UK's defense.

Nine different MSU players have caught a touchdown pass this season. Massive wideout De'Runnya Wilson (6-5, 225) leads the wideouts with six touchdown catches and an average of 17.7 yards per reception. He didn't start playing football until his senior year of high school but is a freak athlete as the former Alabama Mr. Basketball who played for the Bulldogs on the court last season. Tailback Josh Robinson went off for 197 yards (on just 16 carries) at LSU, one of three 100-yard games this season. Nicknamed "Bowling Ball," he's 5-9, 215 pounds and has 689 yards (7.0 ypc) and eight touchdowns rushing to go with 11 catches for 148 yards. Dak's a lot of firepower.

JB-I don't get why CBS picked Miss st/UK game instead of LSU/Mississippi?  Is there one week where ESPN gets first choice?  I'm sure Missisippi would have preferred CBS afternoon game rather than the night game in Death Valley.
