Our defense has made huge strides.

Robb Smith needs a raise if the defense continues to improve like this. Late in the game I look up and Bama has negative yards rushing posted on scoreboard. No one could have told me before the year that we would be able to shut teams down for long, but our defense has given us a chance to win every game, with possible exception of Auburn.

The young DBs are very impressive, and our LB play, especially Brooks, has been beyond my expectations. Our pass rush has caused problems for offenses too.

Teams walk away blue and bruised when they play the Hogs and you can tell they have bought in. We are just a couple of position players away from being where we want to be. Hopefully a win over UGA Saturday will deliver the reward our players and fans deserve.
