Killer Instinct

We are missing that killer instinct...it's what we need to close out games in the 4th. We have to finish teams off or the momentum can shift quickly.

I'm not talking D here, it's offense. We can't play not to lose, we must play to win and keep attacking as if it were the first qtr.

We basically run the same plays all game, the execution definitely is lacking late.

It's nerves... We are beating ourselves each week. There is absolutely no reason right now not to be undefeated. This team has a communal mental block when it comes to winning. I know that once we shake it we will be rolling...

If a coach is so afraid of mistakes that he won't even coach his team to go up and field a punt, giving up fifteen to twenty yards every change of possession, then you can't really expect his team to have a killer instinct.  You get what we have, a bunch of scared puppies running around out there with their buttholes tight enough to make diamonds out of lumps of coal.

I too wonder why we even bother to put a man back on punts.  The ball will still hit the ground.
