It was a flash back to 1998 Ark Tn game.

Tennessee came back with a big touchdown, being behind 21-10 at the half. Tennessee stops Arkansas in the first possession , in the second half, and then Tennessee fumbles the ball for the third turnover. We had the game won, but HDN calls cost us the game.

Brutal loss. But I remember the hangover we suffered the next week in Starkville. That one cost us as well.

Upside we have an open date after this loss. Downside, Alabama's coming to town but I think we play them a hellava lot better than the previous 2 years.
Have you ever listened to someone  or read what they put into thoughts and wondered...."who ties your shoelaces for you?"

The Tinner loss is almost as painful to me as the Great Shootout.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

than the Arkansans--fearless, brave, and oftentimes courageous beyond
prudence. Dickart History of Kershaws Brigade.
