If you were an NFL owner what would you do? When I hear from my friends in the New Orleans area the hate is strong, curious with how others feel.

Outside of a few fanbases with axes to grind, there really is only manufactured outrage over Goodell--  it is a lot like the Redskins situation.

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

He either saw the video, and is lying, or he chose not to see the video, and is lying about not having the opportunity to see it.

I used to think that Bud Selig was the worst commissioner in the history of major sports, but I'm beginning to come around to Goodell (or, as Steve Czaban calls him, the "Ginger Hammer").  I think he's just a guy on a power trip who puts very little effort into his job other than the purely PR stuff.  Guys like that eventually get caught with their pants down.

I put no.  He has done a lot for the NFL.

Voted yes, What Rice done deserves a long suspension or maybe being barred. To try and cover it up for several months is inexcusable and he should be fired!

I think the least, if everything is true, he should resign.  there is no way he can hold any power when he can't tell the truth himself or know what's going on in his own office.
