Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some "Hogville Censored" muscle. -Wooderson

We are 7 of 9 so far with instate recruits.  About to be 8 for 9.  Gragg will make it a sweep.

BB isn't mending the fence, he's building a new, taller, stronger, more durable one.

+1000 on your post. it's right on the money. i want every Arkansas player who is good enough to play Sec football, to stay home and help build the program into a contender again. getting everyone who the staff offered, would be great for the program.

It also speaks well to the rebuilding of relationships with in state HS coaches.   Bobby wasn't always known as the most agreeable sort of guy.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Well FCJ. Maybe you get your birthday wish.

If he saw what I saw with wide receivers dropping balls that hit them in the hands, I'm sure he believes he and KJ can make our WR corps special again.  He'll get every opportunity to become that big body receiver we need.

Hoping to finish out strong with this class.

This is great to hear, but I'm still trying to figure out why any player from Nashville would ever choose Ole Miss?  Not just over Arkansas, but over any other school in the area?

It ain't if but when. WPS  :razorback:
Our father who art in Heaven, Razorbacks be thy name. For the games we've won and battles done, on the road as it is at home. Give us this day our weekly win and forgive us our turnovers as we defeat those that play against us. Lead us not into devastation, but deliver us a title. For thine is the program, the pride and the Hogs, Amen.

After KJ committing this feels like it's gonna be good news for us. He can watch our games and see that he'll play his first year. . . A lot.

If we get Pettway, that would make two that we've flipped from Ole Miss. Their fan base is going to be PO'd! Any news regarding his recruitment? I know RD had some info that he shared with us, but anything new since?

Not really. Most knew Williams would flip after they landed one of the top backs in the country. Little chatter about Pettway.

LMAO. Right on cue.

Keep downplaying the staffs recruiting efforts...whatever makes your head feel better.

Just stating facts. If that bothers you take a hike.

Why don't you take the hike.

We took a highly recruited RB from them, someone that they obviously wanted or they would not have taken his commitment so early. Now it is all but made public that we have taken a highly recruited WR from them. Again, someone they obviously wanted because they took his commitment so early.
"I've never been a numbers guy," Mallett said. "If you play the game for yourself, don't play. I don't want you on the team. There's one goal we've got here. If you're not trying to reach that goal, don't come to Arkansas."

Jonathon Williams?

Or someone else?
Quote from: Michael BernalWhat's your favorite Arkansas tradition?
"I can't be cliché and say 'Call the Hogs,' but I think I have to.  That's just something that sets our university apart.  When you're out on the field and everyone in the stadium stands up, it's amazing.  Even when we're at a football or basketball game, just to see that many people around you doing the same thing for you when you're on the field or for the other guys who are playing, it's pretty awesome."

We need all the good WR's we can get.. I really thought Keon would do better this year, but he keeps dropping the ball in key moments of the game. That was 6 points he dropped, plus there was drops all over the field in the 2nd half that could have kept the drive going, but they couldn't catch. It's not all on Brandon. So, Yes, WE ABSOLUTELY MUST GET THESE KIDS!!!!

Possible.  Don't know enough about his game.  I've heard others say Tyler Wilson is a better comparison.

The offensive numbers are very tight. Just remember that. Sometimes space doesn't allow for somethings. Not saying Pettway won't happen but just realize space is limited.

They have 8 commits so if they're smart they understand they won't finish anywhere near 53.

In your opinion RD, if one spot is available at WR and the two finalists are Pettway and Reed...who gets the spot, assuming they both want to be Hogs?

Furthermore, In your opinion, where do you think the remaining offensive scholarships go?

1WR
1TE
1 OL
1RB

???

Different opinion than that?

Too hard to say right now.

Here's my thinking.

Committed      Will take
QB                 no more QBs

1 RB              will take another

2   TEs            will take Gragg

2   WRs            Maybe one more.

2   OL              will take 2 to 3 more

8  total offensive commits. Another RB, TE and 3 OL would be 13 offensive commitments Take another WR and you have 14.
