- UK's 45-point margin of victory was its biggest since beating UTEP 77-17 in 2002.

- Kentucky gained 656 yards, fourth most in school history. The Cats gained 801 yards vs. Louisville in 1998, 679 vs. Vanderbilt in 1998 and 675 vs. Miami of Ohio last year.

- Kentucky averaged 8.36 yards per rush, most since 8.44 vs. Charleston Southern in 2010. Just the second time that UK has averaged at least eight yards per rush since the Cats averaged 8.26 yards per rush against Indiana in 2004.

- Kentucky's six rushing touchdowns most since a 56-20 win over Kent State in 2007 when Rich Brooks' team rushed for six touchdowns.

- My per-game stats date back to 1989 and before today when UK averaged 10.8 yards per play, the previous high was 9.38 yards per play against UTEP in 2002.

- UT-Martin did run 81 offensive snaps, one behind last year's high by an opponent. Georgia snapped it 82 times when thumping Kentucky in Athens.

- Patrick Towles completed 20 of 29 passes for 377 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions. That figures to a passer rating of 189.54, best by a UK quarterback with 20-or-more attempts since Maxwell Smith was 15-of-23 for 310 yards and three touchdowns in last season's win over Miami of Ohio.

"Brooke Gibbs, a sophomore on the UK Cheer team, has been treated and released from UK Chandler Hospital following a fall during the fourth quarter of Kentucky football's victory over UT Martin.

Brooke, her family and the cheer program are appreciative of the efforts and expertise of the athletic trainers, team doctors and paramedics who cared for her at the stadium, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital. She has heard of the outpouring of thoughts, prayers and concerns from the Big Blue Nation and can't wait to get back on the field with her teammates and the football team soon."
