"Big Game Bob " strikes again with his charitable "second chance" offer to a player at another D1 school who found himself in trouble. The latest member of the OU "family" is former Univ. of Tulsa DE Dalton Rodriguez who was suspended during the spring for "violation of team rules". Rodriguez finally lands at one of the schools that recruited  him out of high school with the objective of playing him on the defensive line. Ironically the young man had originally gone to TU with the intent of continuing to play his high school position along the offensive line. After arriving at Tulsa, however, the Hurricanes decided to move him to the other side of the line of scrimmage. The factors involving the transfer will NOT permit Rodriguez to play immediately. Therefore he will be required to sit out this coming season before joining the active squad in '15.

It will be interesting to see how all the growing "merry band of outlaws" end up performing for OU in the seasons ahead.

Bob is getting desperate to reach the top of the mountain again it seems. He was close last year, but his mouth keeps writing checks his team can't seem to quite cash.

He is now going the Gus Malzahn way of team building. Give me your broken and darned.

What was the team rule that he broke at TU?

Lol wrong. He was committed to OU as an OT. But wanted to play defense and didn't fit OUs 4-3 scheme. He went to tulsa to play D.

Tulsa is a private school and he missed a couple classes which they then kicked him out of school. He's been out for a while.

He was going to enroll at OU regardless and just go to school there so he then decided to walk on to play defense since our move to the 3-4

Bob didn't actively recruit him there.

Wow, there's a Gooner whopper for ya. Old Stoopid is straight trash, jack. Got that SEC envy and he's recruiting a bunch a criminals and begging away other teams criminals. That program is dirty as Auburn.
Our father who art in Heaven, Razorbacks be thy name. For the games we've won and battles done, on the road as it is at home. Give us this day our weekly win and forgive us our turnovers as we defeat those that play against us. Lead us not into devastation, but deliver us a title. For thine is the program, the pride and the Hogs, Amen.

-prayer I say every gameday.
