Haha, I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I've read anything that's been unfair. Every article I've read has predicted four to six wins.

I find it interesting that this article was written by the ESPN Texas A&M reporter and he picks the Aggies as our upset special.  I guess he's not an Aggie alum.

I know Sam. He's a proud Houston Cougar. He made his first trip from Houston to Fayetteville last year and was blown away a bit. He really enjoyed the trip and the campus and town. I think he had the reaction we all expect from people who have no idea what is up on the Hill. I think he was really thinking WTH?! in regards to our facilities.

Overall a good article.  Tell Sam his one mistake was never mentioning Brandon Allen's injury status.  You can't talk about his stats from last year without mentioning that he played injured the majority of the season. 

If Brandon Allen stays healthy this year Arkansas wins 6 and may even go 7-5.

I think it's important for a team like ours this year -- a team that is overmatched in most games but has a few bright spots, a team that looks to take a step forward, a team coming off if two very bad seasons -- to have a goal like bowl eligibility. It's a tangible goal with an actual reward for moving in the right direction. I'm glad that it's part of our vocabulary.

A couple if years from now it would be depressing to have to discuss but for now it's an important part of rebuilding.

Fair is based on an accurate read of the current team. Unfair is completely backwards-looking, or negatively biased, or shallow, or many other versions of untruthful.
